Essendon Royals announce initial timetable for online training program
Essendon Royals Soccer Club is committed to serving our members however we possibly can during the current COVID19 lockdown in Victoria.
For the rest of the month, the Royals will be running live training sessions online via Zoom, with the club’s professional coaching staff.
Royals Head of Football and former New Zealand international Vaughan Coveny and Royals Technical Director and former Socceroo Michael Curcija will deliver training sessions every Tuesday that ALL club members can access LIVE on Zoom.
Replays of these sessions will be made available on the club’s Train At Home portal, should you not be able to attend the session live.
The live sessions form part of a wider online program for members, which will include a variety of content to try and provide maximum engagement across the club’s membership.
The program and content was formulated using the feedback from 2020’s online training program.
As well as our live, online training sessions with Coveny and Curcija, the club will be delivering the following content:
Match Analysis: Curcija and Coveny take a look at the latest games from the top leagues in the professional game, delivering key insights and lessons for Royals footballers to bring into their game.
Royals Journey: Club media man and former journalist Matthew Galea chats to some stand out members of the Royals club alumni who have gone on to have great careers in the game, either as players, coaches or other unique streams, to inspire our members with the possibilities.
Expert Sessions: Essendon Royals partners deliver LIVE webinars that provide expert insights from professionals in their field.
