Australia Cup Round 3 Details: Caroline Springs George Cross v Essendon Royals

Essendon Royals will travel to Caroline Springs George Cross on Saturday 5 March in Round 3 of the Australia Cup following yesterday’s draw.

The draw, conducted by Football Victoria, served up arguably the toughest encounter possible for Vitale Ferrante and his men, a challenge that won’t be taken lightly by the Royals as preparations continue for the State League 1 campaign.

The Georgies – who will be hugely competitive in the State League 1 North-West competition in 2022 – will have the home advantage as the two sides get an early look at each other ahead of their scheduled clash in round two of the league campaign.

Kick-off will be at 5.30pm at City Vista Pavilion & Sports Field, located at 46 City Vista Circuit, Fraser Rise, Plumpton.

The Royals will hope to have the backing of as many of our members and supporters as possible on the night.
