Essendon Royals is delighted to confirm that Essendon Mazda has renewed and expanded its sponsorship of the Royals for Season 2022.
Essendon Mazda will once again be the Club’s Coach’s Sponsor and have also stepped up as a sponsor of our Under-16 and Under-18 Junior Boys National Premier Leagues teams.
As the Coach’s Sponsor, the player benches at Cross Keys Reserve will once again feature Essendon Mazda branding, whilst our digital audience will also be treated to weekly Essendon Mazda Coach’s Comment features, bringing you the latest thoughts from Senior Men’s Coach Vitale Ferrante and Senior Women’s Coach Vince Battiato as the season progresses.
The Royals will also be raffling off a brand new white Mazda CX-3 Maxx Sport as part of our 2022 Club Raffle.
In a further sign of the strength of the relationship between the Royals and Essendon Mazda, Royals Head of Football Vaughan Coveny will also serve as the latest Essendon Mazda Ambassador!
Coveny will be representing both the Royals and Essendon Mazda in his brand new Mazda BT-50 Ute, packing plenty of storage for all the balls, cones and footballing equipment that comes with being the HOF at one of Melbourne’s biggest community clubs.
Featuring prominent Essendon Mazda and Essendon Royals branding, Coveny’s BT-50 will be a constant site around Moonee Valley, as he goes about his role coaching in and supporting the club’s various football programs.
Coveny said that Essendon Mazda’s ongoing support for the club and in particular the coaches was a huge win for the club.
“Coaches are the lifeblood of any club and play a vital role in the delivery of our football programs,” he said.
“To have a supporter like Essendon Mazda is truly a privilege for the club, and to be able to represent both Essendon Mazda and Essendon Royals as an ambassador and as Head of Football respectively is a massive honour.
“I’ve only just got the keys, but I’m loving the extra space for all the gear and the BT-50 drives like an absolute dream.”
Royals president Richard Di Sauro said he was delighted to see the club secure the support of Essendon Mazda for a second-straight season.
“We are delighted to be able to welcome Essendon Mazda back on board and I’m particularly proud of the way the club and the members have supported Essendon Mazda as well,” he said.
“The quality of their cars and the service on offer from Essendon Mazda speaks for itself and everyone at the Royals is delighted to be continuing and expanding on this important relationship.”
