Essendon Royals are delighted to welcome Daniela Gudelj to the club.
Another major acquisition, arriving from NPLW outfit Bulleen Lions, Gudelj brings incredible pedigree and experience to the Royals squad, which has already proven itself a worthy competitor of teams in higher divisions.
Gudelj has been a constant in the NPLW division, representing the likes of our upcoming Nike FC Cup opponents Calder United as well as Bulleen.
Since 2016 she has been involved in at least 70 NPLW games.
Speaking of the signing, Senior Women’s coach Vince Battiato said Gudelj was a perfect fit for his new-look squad.
“Dani is a super player but more importantly she brings with her an attitude both on and off the park which aligns her with exactly what we are doing at Royals,” he said.
“She has a stellar footballing pedigree joining us from NPL outfit FC Bulleen. She’s an incredible team player and has an enthusiasm that is infectious throughout the entire squad.
“I can’t wait to see her on the park in the all-red of Royals tearing apart opposition defences.”
