Essendon Royals host successful Presentation Day in partnership with Ryman Healthcare – PLUS Raffle Results
The Essendon Royals hosted a magnificent Presentation Day presented by Ryman Healthcare for our junior players on Grand Final Eve.
The Royals once again took advantage of the public holiday to host our junior teams for a full day of presentations and awards, as well as the Club’s annual raffle!
The club handed out several Ryman Medals to Club Champions for Season 2022, with the recipients this year being:
Lola Ferrante – For her incredible support of our Senior Men’s and Women’s team, as well as her own rapid progression through our junior ranks and into our Reserves Women’s squad.
Elenia Giacomi – For her amazing efforts supporting our Reserves Men’s team as Team Manager, and her tireless efforts supporting various club initiatives.
Ari Pomillo – DJ Ari has helped create an incredible atmosphere at Senior Men’s and Women’s games this year, providing the backing tracks for goal celebrations and pre-game and half-time, as well as supporting club celebrations in what has been a hugely successful year.
Vitale Ferrante – Our former Senior Men’s coach and new Senior Development Technical Director has endured a tough year following the events surrounding his son, Oscar, but has been beyond inspirational in the way in which he has supported Oscar through his recovery. With Oscar making incredible progress in his recovery, the duo were able to return to the club for the latter parts of the season, providing selfless support to our junior and senior set-ups.
Oscar Ferrante – A young man with a special place in every Royal heart. His incredible fighting spirit has been nothing short of extraordinary, and his ongoing commitment to his recovery is nothing short of outstanding. He is a shining example to everyone, not just at the Royals, but in the wider football community and a player we all wish all the very best to as he continues his recovery with a single-minded focus to one day getting back on the park.
