Essendon Royals have secured Marie Rampal as the Club’s first Senior Women’s re-signing for Season 2023.
Securing the services of the 2022 Women’s Best-And-Fairest was an obvious priority for coach Vince Battiato as he looks to build on last season’s promotion success and he is delighted to have locked in one of the key pieces of the Royals puzzle for 2023.
The Royals will play in the Victorian Premier League Women’s competition in 2023 – the second-highest tier in the state – and Rampal will once again have a crucial role to play with the Royals women in 2023.
Rampal finished 2022 with 23 assists and three goals – and she will hope to continue that rich vein of form in the VPLW next season.
2023 will be Rampal’s second year with the Royals, having joined the club in 2022.
