Davey Van’t Schip back on board as Essendon Royals Playing-Assistant Coach

Senior Men’s Playing Assistant Coach Davey Van’t Schip is back on board for Season 2023.

Mick Ferrante’s right-hand man will continue to play and coach within the Royals Senior Men’s set-up as he looks to help the Royals build on the immense success of Season 2022.

Van’t Schip remains a valuable on-field contributor and ranked among the Club’s top scorers in 2022, whilst his voice as an assistant coach continues to provide on-field direction for his teammates.

Van’t Schip arrived at the club back in 2019 and has played a crucial role in helping the Club set the foundations that eventually saw the Royals earn promotion out of State League 1 North-West and into NPL3.

The Royals look forward to seeing Van’t Schip continue to play an important role at the club in 2023.
