Essendon Royals re-sign Angie Rassias

The Essendon Royals Soccer Club is excited to announce the re-signing of experienced midfielder Angie Rassias. 2023 will be Rassias’ second season with the Royals, having established herself as a key player on the team as well as within the wider women’s football program.

As an experienced midfielder, Angie brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the field. Her ability to control the pace of the game and dictate play has been a major asset to the team. Her vision and passing accuracy are top-notch, making her a vital link in the team’s midfield.

Off the field, Angie is an excellent leader and her presence in the locker room is invaluable. Her ability to rally the team and keep spirits high has been a major factor in the team’s success in recent seasons. Her leadership on the field is equally impressive, and she is often the first player to step up and take control of the game.

In 2023, Rassias will also take on the role of Women’s Football Technical Director.

The Royals are thrilled to have Angie back for another season and are looking forward to her continued contributions to the team.
