Anthony Ramzy recommits to Royals
The Essendon Royals Soccer Club is delighted to announce the re-signing of midfielder Anthony Ramzy for the 2023 season. Ramzy, who is returning for his second season with the club, was a crucial part of the first XI in some of the most important wins of the 2022 season.
Despite enduring an injury-hit campaign, Ramzy’s contributions to the team were highly valued. He strung together some strong performances in a crucial run of wins against Banyule and Caroline Springs George Cross in the middle of the season, which helped set the team up for promotion.
Beyond his on-field contributions, Ramzy has also proven himself to be a valuable member of the squad as the ultimate clubman. His positive attitude, dedication to the team and hard-working mentality have made him a highly respected member of the team. Additionally, he’s known for being one of the peak performers at social functions, solidifying his status as one of the club’s favourite personalities.
