Essendon Royals Host Successful Female Football Day
What an incredible day we had at the Essendon Royals Female Football Day! We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended and made the event such a huge success.
The event carried the theme of “Stronger Together”, and it was truly inspiring to see such a big attendance in support of women’s football.
Over 150 people attended the event, which was a fantastic opportunity for our female footballers to come together and celebrate their passion for the sport.
It was truly amazing to see so many of our female footballers and their families come together to celebrate and empower women in football. Our Senior Women’s team ran a fantastic clinic that was enjoyed by all, while our Senior Women’s Coach Vince Battiato hosted an engaging Q&A panel with some special guests.
We were thrilled to have Melbourne Victory and Australia U20 Goalkeeper Miranda Templeman, Councillor Narelle Sharpe, Nikki Gale from Insight, and Senior Women’s star Rachel Alonso on the panel to share their experiences and knowledge with our attendees.
Of course, the day would not have been possible without the support of our incredible Female Football Day Sponsor, Cinch Skin. We are grateful for their support and for providing such an amazing array of products for our showbags.
