Essendon Royals Soccer Club has announced the signing of Enza Tasevski, a highly experienced footballer who has represented Melbourne Victory in more than 60 A-League Women’s matches across two stints with the club.
Tasevski has also played NPLW football with Calder United, and her wealth of experience will be a valuable asset to the Royals’ senior women’s team.
“I know a few of the girls that are playing at Essendon and they keep telling me how much they enjoy their football there. And to be honest, I just wanted to be a part of it as well,” Tasevski said.
“The welcome has been really great. They’ve welcomed me in with open arms, which is really exciting. Now I’m just keen to be a part of this team. The girls are great. Vince is great. The club seems really good as well. So I’m excited for the times ahead.”
Tasevski is also excited about the prospect of learning from her new teammates and helping to push the team towards promotion.
“I just want to be a part of the team, and if the girls can learn something from me, that’s great, but I think I’ll be learning just as much from them,” Tasevski said.
The Essendon Royals Soccer Club is thrilled to have Tasevski on board and is confident that her experience and skill will be a valuable addition to the team.
“We’re excited for the challenge and we want to push for promotion to NPL,” Tasevski said.
