The Essendon Royals are excited to announce the addition of two young talents to the Senior Men’s Team. The club is committed to providing senior opportunities to quality young players and nurturing their development. We’re proud to welcome Julian Napolitano and Jack Camilleri to the squad.
Julian Napolitano Julian is a 20-year-old winger and former Royals Junior returning to the club for senior football exposure. He’s eager to rejoin the Royals family and contribute to the team: “I’ve been at this club before, I’ve had great experiences here as a junior, so I’m excited to be back.”
Julian is keen to gain senior experience and learn from the coaching staff: “I’ve heard great things about the coaches here, and I’ve enjoyed working with Mick and his team. I’m really looking to get that senior experience for my development and looking forward to playing.”
He also appreciates the support from his teammates during pre-season: “I’ve gained a lot of confidence from playing in the group, and the experience of the older players has really helped me a lot, and I’m looking forward to learning more from them.”
Julian has set his sights on making an impact on the field: “When I do get the minutes, I really want to try and create goals and get a few myself, that’s the aim.”
Jack Camilleri Jack is a 21-year-old winger who enjoys his 1-v-1s and combination play. He was drawn to the Royals due to the club’s culture and commitment to young talent: “To be honest, it’s the culture that’s brought me here. I’ve heard good things about the boys and the way the club gives young players an opportunity.”
Jack sees this move as an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced players: “It’s a good chance for me to play with some players with great experience, so I want to learn from them and get some senior games under my belt.”
He’s also had a positive experience during pre-season: “Pre-season has been tough, but good. We’ve been put through our paces, so I just can’t wait to get started in Round 1.”
The Essendon Royals are delighted to have Julian Napolitano and Jack Camilleri on board and look forward to supporting their growth and development as they embark on their senior football journey.
