Essendon Royals Kick-Starters Term 3 Registrations Now Open
Mark your calendars for an exhilarating new term of soccer excitement! The Essendon Royals Kick-Starter Program is back for Term 3, kicking off on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, at Cross Keys Reserve. We’re eager to welcome back returning athletes and greet new faces to our renowned program. The program offers children aged 4-9 an opportunity to learn soccer skills, make new friends, and have a wonderful experience with the Essendon Royals Soccer Club.
The inaugural Kick-Starter session for Term 3 will occur on July 15th and continue until September 16th, 2023. As always, our program provides two separate sessions each Saturday morning for different age groups, ensuring a tailored and age-appropriate experience for every participant.
We have implemented an efficient check-in system to ensure a smooth experience for many participants. Upon check-in, children will be assigned a numbered flag for each session, with pitches prepared and ready for play.
Session times and details remain as follows:
Session 1 (Ages 4, 5 & 6): Starts at 9am (duration 45 minutes) Session 2 (Ages 7, 8 & 9): Starts at 10am (duration 45 minutes)

We request that your child arrives at least 15 minutes early for check-in and brings a clearly labelled water bottle.
While uniforms are not obligatory, they can be purchased after check-in, which includes a shirt, shorts, socks, and a drawstring bag.
This term we also have a new range of softshell jackets for purchase. These are strictly being purchased.
Parents fear not! Our canteen will be open every Saturday morning, offering coffee and snacks to keep you refreshed and energized while you cheer on your budding soccer stars.
Please note that sessions will proceed in wet weather (since soccer is a winter sport), and cancellations will only occur if conditions are considered unsafe or if instructed by the Council.
