Pacey forward Filomena Delic recommits to Essendon Royals for 2024 NPLW Campaign

The Essendon Royals are excited to announce the return of the dynamic Filomena Delic for the 2024 NPLW season. Arriving at the Royals in 2023, Delic quickly established herself as a key player, finishing as the club’s third-top scorer with 11 goals in 17 games.

Delic’s ability to capitalize on opportunities, whether it’s finishing off crosses from teammates or exploiting defensive errors, has been a significant asset for the Royals. Her pace and instinctive positioning make her a constant threat in the attacking third.

As the Royals prepare for the NPLW, Delic is set to play an even more crucial role. Her goal-scoring prowess will be invaluable as she seeks to elevate her game in the top tier of Victorian women’s football.

Delic, re-signing alongside former Melbourne Knights teammates Mikaela Jurcic and Kate Spiteri, will be part of a formidable attacking unit, despite the competition from new faces in the squad. Her continued presence ensures the Royals have a potent and versatile option upfront.
