Essendon Royals Soccer Club is excited to announce the signing of the young and talented Audrey Oastler for the upcoming NPLW season. At just 19, Audrey has already shown glimpses of her incredible potential in the top tiers of Australian women’s football.
Audrey’s journey last season began at NPLW heavyweights Bulleen Lions, where she made a notable impact as a forward. Mid-season, she moved to VPLW’s Ringwood, proving her versatility and determination by quickly adapting to the new environment. Her time at Ringwood was marked by success, scoring two goals in just five games.
Coach Vince Battiato highlights Audrey’s enthusiasm and positive attitude since joining the Royals, a sentiment echoed by Audrey herself. Her experience and hunger to prove herself in the NPLW, especially after her stint at Bulleen Lions, where she scored three goals in seven games, make her a valuable addition to the Royals.
Audrey represents a new generation of football talent, bringing energy, skill, and a desire to excel. The Royals are confident that the club provides the right environment for her to flourish and significantly impact the league.
“Audrey is a player with immense potential. We’re excited to provide her the platform to showcase her talents and contribute to the team’s success,” said Coach Vince Battiato.
