Essendon Royals are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Emma Robers for the remainder of the 2024 NPLW Victoria season.
Robers joins the club after two strong seasons with Western United in the A-League Women, making over 30 appearances and scoring two goals as part of their engine room.
The 25-year-old also previously played for Melbourne Victory, where she was part of the side that secured back-to-back A-League Women’s Championships.
The all-action midfielder has played locally for Calder United’s all conquering team for the last few years, but has now taken her talents to Cross Keys.
Robers can play anywhere across the midfield, showing an ability to cover ground as a box-to-box midfielder and get forward and hit the scoreboard.
We can’t wait to see her take the field this season as we chase a strong end to the 2024 season.
