Essendon Royals’ senior women’s side are back on the road this Saturday, when they take on Bentleigh Greens at Kingston Heath Soccer Complex.
Royals made it three wins in a row with a 1-0 victory at home over Brunswick Juventus last Saturday, which has Essendon sitting in third place on the ladder.
Audrey Oastler’s fourth goal of the campaign was the difference between the two sides, as she continues her fine start to life at Cross Keys Reserve since joining the club from FC Bulleen Lions.

Saturday’s contest also saw both Raquel Deralas and Mia Lantieri-Bartley make their debuts for the club, coming off the bench in the second-half as Essendon looked to close out the game.
They next face Bentleigh, who sit in second last on the ladder after falling to their fourth league defeat in a row.
The Greens were on the end of a 7-0 drubbing at the hands of Bulleen at the Veneto Club last Saturday, which came off the heels of a 6-1 loss to Alamein at home a week earlier.
Despite their difficult run, Bentleigh are only two points off seventh placed FV Emerging, and one point behind Calder United, Heidelberg United and Box Hill United.
The standout player for the Greens so far this season has been Olivia Bomford, who has shown plenty of class in the middle of the park throughout a tough start to the campaign.
Kick-off is at 4 PM on the main pitch, with the Under 20s taking the field at 1:45 PM on Pitch Three.
The Royals Under 20s defeated Brunswick 2-1 last week to record only their second win of the season, while Bentleigh suffered a 4-0 loss to Bulleen. Essendon sit only two points clear of Bentleigh on the ladder in 10th.
