Jordy returns! VPL2 Golden Boot winner Jordan Adeyemi re-signs for 2025 season

Essendon Royals are thrilled to announce the re-signing of VPL2 Golden Boot winner Jordan Adeyemi ahead of the 2025 season.

Adeyemi starred in his first season at Cross Keys, scoring 15 goals and finishing equal-first in the Golden Boot race with Goulburn Valley Suns’ Callum Schorah.

Among his 15 goals included a hat-trick against title winners FC Melbourne Serbija on the final day of the season, braces against Brunswick Juventus, Beaumaris and Goulburn Valley.

He also had a match winning appearance off the bench against FC Bulleen Lions in the Dockerty Cup, scoring a brace to send the game to extra time in an historic 4-3 win.

Prior to arriving at the Royals, Adeyemi enjoyed a lengthy career playing in England for the likes of Walton & Hersham, Worthing and most recently, Hornchurch in the Isthmian League.

Not only has the star striker made an impact on the field, but also off it as a coach in a number of our junior programs.

Adeyemi joins Graham Kelly as players to have re-signed for the upcoming season.
