Essendon boosts attack with return of Filomena Delic for 2025 NPLW Victoria season

Essendon Royals’ attack for the upcoming 2025 NPLW Victoria season continues to take shape with the re-signing of Filomena Delic.

The speedy attacker links up with the Royals for a third consecutive season, after joining the club in 2023 from Melbourne Knights and went on to score 11 goals in 17 games in their promotion winning season.

Delic continued to have an impact for the Royals up-front in 2024, scoring twice en-route to securing a finals berth, and caused plenty of headaches for defenders with her speed.

She’s the third attacker to commit to the Royals side for the upcoming campaign, joining top goalscorer Audrey Oastler and Ava Groba.

Meanwhile, former Knights teammate Mikaela Jurcic, Mia Lantieri-Bartley, Kendrah Smith and Olivia Ristevski have also signed on for the upcoming season.
