Essendon Royals Announce 2025 NPLW Fixtures
The Essendon Royals are thrilled to unveil the 2025 NPLW fixture for our hugely exciting women’s squad! After a standout debut campaign in the competition, where the Royals reached the finals and competed in a semi-final, the team is eager to build on this success in 2025.
Season Highlights
- Season Opener: We kick off the 2025 campaign with a local derby against Brunswick Juventus at CB Smith Reserve on Saturday, 15th March at 3:00 PM. This is sure to be an intense start to the season!
- Home Opener: The Royals return to Cross Keys Reserve in Round 3, hosting Spring Hills FC on Saturday, 29th March (pending access to the ground).
- Double-Headers:
- Round 4 (5th April): We host Preston Lions in the first of our NPLW and VPL2 Men’s double-headers. With the men’s team playing later in the evening, this is set to be a fantastic day of football for the entire club.
- Round 13 (21st June): Another double-header against Box Hill United, bringing the Royals community together once again.
With marquee fixtures against fierce rivals and some of Victoria’s top sides, the Royals are set for a season filled with excitement. Our players are ready to push for greatness and make 2025 another season to remember.
