Essendon Royals Soccer Club Annual General Meeting 2024 Notification

The Essendon Royals Soccer Club invites all members to attend our Annual General Meeting for 2024. Please take note of the new location:
Date: Monday, 11th November 2024
Time: 7:00 PM
New Location: Ormond Park, Essendon
This meeting is a critical event for all members of the Essendon Royals Soccer Club as it provides an opportunity to review the club’s progress over the past year, discuss future plans, and elect the leadership team for the upcoming season.
Agenda Highlights:
- Review of the 2023 season
- Financial reports and club updates
- Election of new Club Directors
- Volunteer recruitment and opportunities
As per the Constitution of the Club, all current Club Directors must stand down at the AGM and may stand for re-election.
Nominations for 2024 Club Director Positions:
The following nominations have been received for key Club Director positions for the 2024 season:
- President: Vitale Ferrante
- Vice President: David Minnala
- Secretary: Matthew Galea
- Treasurer: Jenny Palmisano
- Seniors: Steven Tribuzio
- Juniors: Sherene DiSauro
Per club regulations, any member or current director may nominate a person for election as a Director (including the President). All nominations must be submitted in writing and signed by both the nominator and the nominee.
Nomination Deadline:
Nominations for Club Directors must be submitted to the Club Secretary, Salim Hijazeen, at secretary@essendonroyals.com.au by 5:00 PM on 18th October 2023.
Volunteer Opportunities:
The club is also looking for volunteers to assist in several key areas for the upcoming season.
The club aims to have a broader subcommittee that will assist the Club Directors with a range of tasks throughout the 2025 season, including:
- Fundraising
- Sponsorship
- Apparel
- Matchday Setup
We are always happy to hear from club members who might be interested in assisting around the club.
