Talented youngster Seb Lo Monaco re-signs with Royals for 2025 season

Essendon Royals are thrilled to announce the re-signing of talented youngster Seb Lo Monaco ahead of the 2025 season.

Lo Monaco joined our senior men’s side in the 2024 off-season from Western United’s senior youth academy, but suffered a serious knee injury on the eve of the season.

He eventually returned towards the tail-end of the campaign, making three appearances in the senior matchday squad.

He is the eleventh player to sign for the Royals’ senior side ahead of the 2025 season, joining re-signings club captain Graham Kelly, VPL2 Golden Boot winner Jordan Adeyemi, Dean Clarke, Brad Norton, Will Thomason, Andre Russo, James Tieri and Jack Leech.

We’re looking forward to seeing the best of Lo Monaco this season, with his serious injury now behind him.
