Essendon Royals have continued to solidify their squad heading into the 2025 NPLW Victoria season with the signing of versatile midfielder Emma Langley.
The 27-year-old joins the club after eight seasons plying her trade in the top-flight of women’s football in Victoria.
Langley started her Victorian career with Heidelberg United, where she scored 12 goals in the 2018 season and was awarded the club’s Golden Boot, before joining Box Hill United where she served as vice-captain was part of their senior squad until the end of the 2023 campaign.
She also had a stint in Tasmania with Northern Rangers where she won the league Best and Fairest and Golden Boot.
Most recently, Langley played for Victorian powerhouses Calder United during the 2024 season, before making the switch to Cross Keys this off-season, where she adds significant depth to our squad.
Langley is the club’s second new arrival this off-season, joining attacker Emily Harbis.
