Essendon welcomes young forward Betti Michael ahead of 2025 NPLW Victoria season

Essendon Royals are thrilled to announce the signing of young forward Betti Michael to their senior women’s side ahead of the 2025 NPLW Victoria season.

Michael arrives at Cross Keys from reigning NPLW Victoria premiers and Nike FC Cup champions FC Bulleen Lions, after arriving from 2023 champions South Melbourne – who she played for in two stints.

The speedy forward also spent time at both Alamein and FV Emerging.

Her signing helps add depth to our attack ahead of the new season, joining our Golden Boot winner Audrey Oastler, Ava Groba and Filomena Delic as forwards to commit for the upcoming season.

She’s the club’s third new signing of the off-season, joining Emily Harbis and Emma Langley ahead of the 2025 campaign.
