Essendon Royals Strengthen Squad with Amy Parkinson Signing

The Essendon Royals are thrilled to announce the signing of Amy Parkinson, a standout defender from the Northern New South Wales NPLW competition, where she most recently represented Maitland FC.

Known for her no-nonsense approach and versatility at right back, Amy comes highly rated and ready to tackle the challenges of NPLW Victoria.

Her 2024 season at Maitland was nothing short of impressive, featuring in every game of the season. Across 43 matches for Maitland in the NNSW NPLW competition, she amassed 1717 minutes during the 2024 campaign alone, showcasing her consistency and durability on the pitch.

Head Coach Vince Battiato expressed his excitement about Amy’s addition to the squad. “Amy has shown her quality during pre-season and has quickly become an integral part of the group. I’m looking forward to seeing her make an impact as the season unfolds.”
