A standout prospect from Perth, Zara arrives with an impressive résumé, boasting international experience and a strong record in the US college system.
Zara’s journey to the Royals has been marked by dedication, hard work, and success at every level.
She represented Australia’s U-17 national team as AFF Tournament Champions and progressed to the U-20 squad, showcasing her talent on the international stage.
Zara played in the =National Premier League Women (NPLW) with South Melbourne in 2023.
During her time with Keiser University in the US, Zara excelled as the starting goalkeeper in all 19 of her appearances in 2023, amassing seven clean sheets and 52 saves.
She recorded a career-high eight saves in the NAIA Quarterfinal against top-seeded William Carey University, solidifying her reputation as a dependable and fearless shot-stopper.
Zara also shone during her school years, earning a Seb Nye scholarship and selection in the Australian School Girls Team of the Tournament.
