Registration for Term Two of our Kick‑Starters Program is now open. Join us at Cross Keys Reserve as we build on the excitement of Term One with more fun, skill development and community spirit. Designed for children aged 4 to 9, our Term Two sessions help young players hone their techniques, make new friends and boost their confidence in a supportive setting.

About the Program

The Kick‑Starters Program follows Football Australia’s MiniRoos Kick‑Off framework and focuses on engaging, age‑appropriate soccer activities. Our sessions blend skill‑building drills with games that encourage coordination, teamwork and a lifelong passion for the sport.

Program Details

Age: 4 to 9 years
Session Length: 45 minutes
When: One weekly on Saturdays or Wednesdays (depending on your registration)
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–9:45 AM (4–6 years); 10:00 AM–10:45 AM (7–9 years)
- Wednesday: 4:30 PM–5:15 PM (4–8 years)
Venue: Cross Keys Reserve, Woodland Street, Essendon
Cost: $230 per term

2025 Program Notes

Midweek Sessions remain part of the schedule to give families flexibility.
Girls‑Only Grids available wherever numbers allow, alongside mixed‑gender options.
Mandatory Uniforms ordered online through the Ultra Football Essendon Royals Club Store.

How to Register

Spots are limited and we are almost out of space for our popular Saturday 9am session in particular.

Registrations will not be accepted on the day of a session. You must pay for registratoin before you attend a session.
