Julian Guzzardi signs on for 2026

The Essendon Royals are delighted to announce that Julian Guzzardi has re-signed with the club for the 2026 campaign.

The young striker had a breakout year in 2025 in his third season with the club, appearing in every league fixture from Round 2 onwards, and netting eight goals.

Guzzardi also bagged his first senior hat-trick in a stunning 5-2 comeback win away to Altona City in May.   

Guzzardi joins Marcus Kotronis, Takumi Niwa, Dean Clarke and Brad Norton in committing to Mick Ferrante’s squad for next year.
