Everything you need to follow your team – fixtures, news, player profiles – now lives in one place.
We wanted to build something properly useful. Not just a link to a website or a PDF fixture list, but a genuine club app that lives on your phone, sends you notifications, and puts everything Royals in one place.

What’s in the app?
Live fixtures with one-tap calendar sync. Senior Men, Senior Women, BVYPL Boys, GVYPL Girls, Community teams — they’re all there. Tap a fixture and it goes straight into your phone’s calendar. No more manually adding games because Dribl won’t let you sync.
Push notifications. Get alerts for match updates, club news, and announcements direct to your phone.
Dedicated hubs for seniors, advanced juniors, and community program. Find what’s relevant to you without wading through content meant for other teams.
Community Hub. Club-wide announcements, key contacts, registration info, and resources – all in one spot.
News, match reports, and our Instagram feed. Articles, announcements, photo galleries, and our latest social posts together in one place.
Player profiles and squad info. See who’s in your team, read player bios, and keep up with 2026 signing announcements.

The app was built in partnership with our media partner, Content Hype.
Content Hype has worked alongside Essendon Royals for several seasons, handling everything from match-day coverage and player interviews to social media content and club communications. This app is a natural extension of that partnership – a project that combines Content Hype’s understanding of what the club needs with the technical work to actually build it.
It’s the kind of thing that happens when a media partner is genuinely embedded in the club, not just servicing it from the outside.
Why we built this
