Essendon Royals confirm recommitment of Beth Mason-Jones
The Essendon Royals are excited to confirm the return of former A-Leagues Women’s goalkeeper Beth Mason-Jones to the Club in 2023.
The Royals shot-stopper was an invaluable part of the Royals’ promotion success in 2022, whilst an incredible performance in the Nike FC Cup against Calder United served as further evidence of Mason-Jones’ undeniable talent.
Coming up with crucial saves throughout the season, Mason-Jones will be even more important moving into 2023 as the Royals move up a division and into the VPLW.
With the Royals set to be more consistently tested on a weekly basis, experience and quality between the sticks could prove telling to coach Vince Battiato’s goals for the new campaign, meaning Mason-Jones’ return is an important one.
