Essendon Royals re-sign talented young-gun Jake Montagnese
The Essendon Royals Soccer Club is excited to announce the re-signing of full-back Jake Montagnese for the 2023 season. Montagnese, who had a fantastic debut campaign with the Royals last season, will be returning for his second season with the club.
Despite being a young player, Montagnese proved himself to be a reliable and consistent performer for the team in 2022. He featured on the team sheet every single week of the league campaign, and his performances on the pitch were of a high standard. His solid defensive displays were complemented by his ability to get forward and support the attack, making him a valuable asset to the team.
As a promising talent with plenty of upside, Montagnese will be looking to build on his strong debut campaign as the Royals move up a division into NPL3. His potential and talent are evident, and the Royals are excited to see him continue to develop and grow as a player in the upcoming season.
