ESSENDON ROYALS KICK-STARTERS TERM 4 REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

Get ready for another action-packed term of soccer fun! The Essendon Royals Kick-Starter Program is gearing up for Term 4, starting on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at our traditional home, Ormond Park. We’re thrilled to invite both returning and new young athletes to be part of this exciting journey. Designed for children aged 4-9, our program offers a fantastic opportunity to hone soccer skills, forge new friendships, and immerse in the vibrant atmosphere of the Essendon Royals Soccer Club.
Term 4’s inaugural Kick-Starter session will commence on October 7th and run through to December 9th, 2023. As with previous terms, we’ll be hosting two distinct sessions every Saturday morning, catering to different age groups to ensure an engaging and age-appropriate experience for all.
Our streamlined check-in process ensures a hassle-free start to the day. Upon arrival, each child will receive a numbered flag for their session, with pitches set up and ready for action.
Here are the session details for Term 4:
- Session 1 (Ages 4, 5 & 6): Starts at 9am (duration 45 minutes)
- Session 2 (Ages 7, 8 & 9): Starts at 10am (duration 45 minutes)

We kindly ask participants to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their session for check-in and to bring along a clearly labelled water bottle.
While uniforms remain optional, they can be acquired post check-in. The kit includes a shirt, shorts, socks, and a drawstring bag. Additionally, our new range of softshell jackets will be available for purchase this term.
Parents, we’ve got you covered! Our canteen will be operational every Saturday morning, serving up refreshing coffee and snacks to keep you fueled as you support your young soccer enthusiasts.
Please be informed that sessions will go ahead even in wet weather (given soccer’s winter sport nature). Cancellations will only be made if conditions are deemed unsafe or upon Council’s directive.
