Essendon Royals AGM 2024 – Executive Committee Announcements and Volunteer Opportunities

The Essendon Royals recently held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, November 20, marking a significant milestone in the club’s journey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the members who attended, demonstrating their commitment and passion for the club.

Introducing the 2024 Executive Committee

The club is excited to announce the newly elected Executive Committee for the 2024 season. This team of dedicated individuals will lead the Royals in what promises to be an exhilarating year:

• President: Richard Di Sauro
• Vice President: David Minnala
• Secretary: Laurie Costabile
• Treasurer: Jenny Palmisano
• Seniors Representative: Steve Tribuzio
• Juniors Representative: Frank Nappo

A Call for More Volunteers

While the AGM was well-attended by some of our families, showing a keen interest in the club’s operations, there remains a significant need for more volunteers. As a club boasting over 900 players, the need for additional support is more pressing than ever.

Volunteer Positions Open for Application

The Royals are actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill several key volunteer positions. These roles are crucial in supporting the club’s growth and success:

• Council Liaison (Non-Executive Committee)
• Senior Team Manager

Descriptions for each of these positions are available, providing detailed insights into the responsibilities and opportunities each role offers.

We are also looking to build our bank of general volunteers who won’t have a specified role, but are open to be contacted about any volunteering needs the club might have around the club on gamedays, training nights and other club events (EG: marshalls, merchandise sales etc.)
