Essendon Royals announce trials and Expressions of Interest for 2025 Kanga and A-Community Teams
The Essendon Royals Soccer Club is excited to announce that Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for our Boys U8-U13 Kanga/A Team trials. This is a fantastic opportunity for young players born between 2012 and 2017 to join our elite training programs, with trial dates set to take place throughout September.
Our Kanga/A teams are known for their commitment to excellence and player development. Notably, some of our Kanga teams will also have the chance to play up an age group during the regular season competition, offering an even greater challenge and learning opportunity for those involved.
All trials will be held at Cross Keys Reserve.
Trial Dates:
- U8 Kangas (2017 Born): Tues 10/9 & Thurs 12/9, 5:30-6:30pm
- U9 Kangas (2016 Born): Wed 11/9 & Fri 13/9, 5:30-6:30pm
- U10 Kangas (2015 Born): Tues 17/9 & Thurs 19/9, 5:30-6:30pm
- U11 Kangas (2014 Born): Wed 11/9 & Fri 13/9, 6:45-7:45pm
- U12A (2013 Born): Tues 10/9 & Thurs 12/9, 6:45-7:45pm
- U13A (2012 Born): Tues 17/9 & Thurs 19/9, 6:45-7:45pm
Our Kanga/A program offers players a genuine pathway into our successful Junior Boys NPL program, with year-round football that includes participation in major tournaments and competitions. The program is embedded in a positive club culture that prioritizes player development and improvement, led by high-quality internal and external coaches who are supported by experienced football professionals.
Please note that further trials for remaining community boys’ and girls’ teams will be held at the beginning of Term 4. More details will be communicated about this as they are confirmed.
