Essendon Royals are thrilled to announce their first signing to their senior women’s side ahead of the 2025 season, with the arrival of Emily Harbis.
The versatile attacker arrives at the Royals from Alamein, bolstering our attacking department significantly heading into the new campaign.
Harbis has plenty of experience playing both here in Victoria’s top flight and abroad, starting her senior career with Bayside United after graduating from Football Victoria’s NTC program, where she made over 80 appearances for the former.
She then signed for Alamein during the COVID-affected 2020 season, before making the move to Canada to play for Holy Cross in 2022. Harbis would return to Dorothy Laver Reserve last season, going on to score twice.
The club will announce more new arrivals in the coming days and weeks.
