Notice of 2025 Essendon Royals SC Annual General Meeting
The Essendon Royals Soccer Club invites all members to attend our 2025 Annual General Meeting.
Date: Wednesday, 10 December 2025
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Ormond Park – Essendon Royals Pavilion
This meeting gives members the chance to review the club’s progress over the past year, hear about our plans for 2026, and confirm the leadership team that will guide the club next season.
To be eligible to attend and vote, you must be a:
- Financial (paid) 2025 Player or parent of a player aged under 18
- Offered, accepted and placed a deposit as a player or parent of a player aged under 18
- Club Member (social member, sponsor)
- Life Member

- Presentation of financial reports and club updates
- 2026 outlook and key priorities
- Election of Club Directors for the 2026 season
- Volunteer recruitment and opportunities
As per the Constitution of the Club, all current Club Directors must stand down at the AGM and may stand for re-election.
Nominations for 2026 Club Director Positions
The following nominations have been received for Club Director positions for the 2026 season:
- President: Vitale Ferrante
- Vice President: David Minnala
- Secretary: Matthew Galea
- Treasurer: Chris Pantelidis
- Senior Football Representative: Steven Tribuzio
- Junior Football Representative: Sherene Di Sauro
Under club regulations, any member or current Director may nominate a person for election as a Director (including the President). All nominations must be submitted in writing and signed by both the nominator and the nominee.

Nomination Deadline:
Nominations for Club Directors must be submitted to the Club Secretary, Matthew Galea, at secretary@essendonroyals.com.au by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 3 December 2025. Nominations cannot be made after this date.
Volunteer Opportunities
Whilst the executive committee of Club Directos are responsible for much of the management of the club, we do enlist the support of a broader subcommittee of volunteers who assist with a wide range of tasks. We are a club of 1000+ players, from our youngest to our oldest, and it takes much more than the six elected directors to run a club of this size.
As such, we are always looking to hear from members keen to join our subcommittee of volunteers to assist with:
- Apparel
- Events
- Registrations
- Club Media
- Council Liaison
- Sponsorship
- Grants
- Match day organisation
We welcome interest from any member who would like to contribute to the running and growth of the club.
